SERVICES

Mission:

To provide a value-based experience rather than a time-based one.
We believe that investing in your small business or the future of your family and your legacy are actions worth pursuing. We understand that when clients are considering the impact of investing in legal services, even when they lead to positive outcomes, price is a main consideration. Transparent pricing and robust value-based legal services are not mutually exclusive. We aim to provide both through our services listed below.

We will help you determine the best entity formation based on your business and your goals, file the required organizational or incorporation documents with the Colorado Secretary of State, apply for an Employer Identification Number (EIN) with the IRS, draft the operating agreement or shareholder agreement, and draft the organizational consents.
Non-profit Formation
Filing for IRS 501(c)(3), non-profit status is a task that requires precise strategy, planning and organization. Luckily, we have done this a time or two! We can help you form your non-profit corporate entity, and more importantly, assist your non-profit in obtaining the IRS recognition as a tax exempt entity.
Corporate Compliance
When a business entity is formed, that business must stay compliant with the Secretarty of State. We can do the following on behalf of your business:
  • Serve as Registered Agent
  • File Periodic Reports
  • Amend Articles
  • Fictious Business Name/DBA

Contracts

Small Business
I know we are all guilty, but signing a contract without fully understanding the legal impact leads to bad outcomes. Additionally, some situations and relationships are better entered into with a contract.

Let us review, draft, or negotiate your businesses contracts so that you have the assurance that your best interests are provided for.
Real Estate Transactions
Entering into a purchase and sale of property should be performed in a way that achieves your specific goal and with your interests protected. We understand that often the contract language in these types of transactions is hard to understand.

Let us work in our zone of genius to make sure the outcome you anticipated is the one you get.

Life Planning
Creating an estate plan doesn't just mean planning for death. We must also plan for what happens when we are alive, but we no longer have the ability, or capacity, to make our own decisions.

A basic incapacity plan addresses three key decision-making areas: financial, personal, and health. A good plan ensures that, should something happen to you, your wishes will be protected, as well as makes sure someone will have the legal authority to represent your interests. We do that through three legal documents:
  • Financial Power of Attorney
  • Medical Power of Attorney
  • Living Will (Advanced Directive)
Trusts
Trusts are an estate planning tool that can be used to achieve your estate planning objectives. Buck Law can work with you to determine which type of trust achieves your goals.
  • Revocable Living Trust
  • Testamentary Trust
  • Special Needs Trust
  • Irrevocable Trust
  • Charitable Trust
  • QTIP
